Things worth knowing

Elon Musk is deeply involved. Unlike many founder-led companies where the founder becomes more distant as the company grows, Musk is actively involved in xAI's direction. This is a feature for people who want to work in that environment; it's worth being clear-eyed about what it means.

The X distribution is real. Grok is integrated into X, giving it distribution to hundreds of millions of users that most AI labs would have to spend years building. This changes the product development context — features can be tested at massive scale immediately.
